Summer Collegiate

Competitive Team 2011

(8 Weeks / 4-5 Sessions per Week / 3 Regattas)

Goal:

Participants will row in set boats with the goal to participate in the 129th Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in St. Catherines, Ontario. Practices will be joint with the Summer Junior Competitive Team. Regatta fees are in addition to the program fee, and depend on the race and boat a rowers participates in.

Practice Sessions:

5:00 PM to 6:30 PM

every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

(some Saturdays)

Overpeck County Park

Regatta:

Schuylkill Navy Regatta - Sat, June 18 *

Independence Day Regatta - Fri-Sun, July 1-3

Royal Canadian Henley - Tue-Sun, Aug 2-7

Registration:

First come, first serve

Deadline: register as soon as possible

 

* In order to participate in the Schuylkill Navy Regatta your registration must be received by Wednesday, June 8, 2011, in order to meet the regatta entry deadline.

 

Minimum capacity to run program: 8 Rowers

Maximum capacity: 20 Rowers

$400.00 (excluding regatta fees)

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from practices.

Summer Collegiate

Recreational Program

(7 Weeks / 2 Sessions per Week / no Regatta)

Goal:

This program is designed for youth interested in rowing for fun during the summer. Sessions will be joint with the Summer Youth Recreational Program.
